$400 from what my friend told me he paid for it less than two weeks ago. He said for the component set it was a steal at that price. Made by the same company that makes Giant.
In 2022, this bike for $299 is a pretty good deal. I have some of these components (cogset, chain and shifters) on my Nishiki and I have been very happy with it performance. I read some negative reviews about clicking/thunking pedal pressure?.. I wonder if some riders are riding their gears incorrectly and cross chaining. If not, their bike wasn't tuned correctly before they received it. This bike has tourney front derailleur and altus rear derailleur. I doubt it is the components. I believe the bad issue is just the tuning. Lot of people don't want to tweak their front derailleur because it may look too confusing but on YouTube, there are great tutorials that will teach you. I am hands on and pretty much do all my work on my bikes and cars myself and YouTube helps out so much. I do recommend investing in a bike repair stand. They are pretty cheap and making repairs/tweaks so much easier.
