Having played and beaten this game, definitely pick up the freebie. But I will say a few things about it:
  • The concept of the game is extremely fascinating
  • It has great potential if they make a sequel that addresses all the many many MANY issues
  • The game overall suffers from being confined and repetitive

cool game and good snag for free. played it on console and has some unique concepts, but the QoL and warning systems fail you in the most crucial of times. get ready to restart a few times before you get what's going on

I remember playing this game. The concept is amazing, but it was extremely short. It feels like they finished only 15% of the game they were planning initially.

It's a giveaway on GOG.com, not anything special with EGS. I got Genesis Alpha One Deluxe last night before I even knew about the EGS + GOG thing. Neither the Epic Launcher or GOG Galaxy required.
