Grabbed one of the 13" pans and the 10" frying pan. Worth trying for a total of less than $25.

I got one of those amazon cast iron pans last month and think they are pretty nice. I don't have a notion about the chemical menace that other posts insist upon but they work well and the heat spreads evenly so the food cooks well.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are the benefits of cast iron for a roasting pan? I use cast iron dutch oven, frying pan, and griddle, but I'm not coming up with a whole lot trying to think of where cast iron makes sense over other materials for a roasting pan.
