Best deal to date on this which is the best seller on Amazon and is currently priced at over $300 there. Before the comments hit, will it take the place of a 2 stage gas machine in a heavy snow area, no. But it will do the trick in most places and the price is right for a name branded electric unit.

It works OK, but the batteries give you 20 minutes runtime--not near enough for most people with any amount of space to clear.

A corded model is more annoying, but is a lot better choice for anyone with significant area to clear.
There is no cord. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

The Amazon unit is 48 volts...Woot unit is 24 volts. Same unit or typo?

Would not repurchase again because it isn't enough for my driveway and sidewalk after year one. Often requires two charges to tackle it all. Also if the battery ever gets wets from the snow, which it will with blowback and those subpar covers, you'll need to stop, take them inside and wait for them to warm up inside to begin again. But for the price I can't think of anything that can beat it. If you don't have a long driveway this will handle six inch or below snow perfectly.

Neither, chalk one up to clever marketing. 2x 24 volt batteries = 48 volts.

The Snowjoe only works in dry, powdery snow. I find if it has any moisture or heft to the snow, the snowjoe is simply not up to the task

3 year warranty link on the Woot page takes you to a Snow Joe page that shows it's only a 2 year warranty.

Also, woot is not listed on the authorized sellers page (although Amazon is).
