I have the Pixel 7 Pro and use on Mint Mobile for a few weeks now. Wifi and cell service seems ok to me. I used the Mint Mobile APN settings here:

https://www.mintmobile.com/help/h...-settings/
Go into your phone's Settings, select Connections, followed by Mobile Networks, then Access Point Names and select Add to enter the following information:
Name – Mint
APN – Wholesale
Proxy – (leave blank)
Port – (leave blank)
Username – (leave blank)
Password – (leave blank)
Server – (leave blank)
MMSC – http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
Multimedia Message Proxy – (leave blank)
Multimedia Message Port – 8080
MCC – 310
MNC – 260
Authentication Type – (leave blank)
APN Type – default,supl,mms,ia
APN Protocol – IPv4/IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol – IPv4
Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Save; ensure that the new Access Point Name is selected and restart your phone

I have the phone set to Prefer 5G.
For those wondering, here's how T-mo deprioritization works in regards to Mint vs other MVNO:

T-Mobile uses QCI 6, 7, 8, and 9. They are generally considered to be only a bit behind ATT in their traffic deprioritization policies for MVNOs.

QCI 6 is applied to all of T-Mobile's postpaid and prepaid plans (except for Essentials) and Google Fi which also has QCI 6 as well. This means if you want the absolute best from T-Mobile, you want to get a plan directly from them (or google fi). Even their cheap $15 Connect 2.5GB plan has postpaid priority data which is a huge bonus for such a cheap plan.

QCI 7 is applied to T-Mobile's Essentials plan as well as all MVNOs (besides Google Fi) such as Mint, Metro By T-Mobile, US Mobile GSM LTE, and Tello.

QCI 8 is believed to be for any hotspot usage on a consumer plan.

QCI 9 is for their home internet service (yes, its deprioritized to last network priority) and all plans once their data bucket is exhausted.

I think this is a pretty good deal, especially if you can swing CB and the Amex $45 off offer, and get the maximum value from the 12 month cutover (prior threads have talked about doing a transfer off Google Voice).

Having used the phone now for a few weeks, it's pretty substantial. I was coming off a Pixel 3XL and wanted to have committed future security updates and a better camera. The voice transcription was also huge for me, much better than Apple because I rely on it all the time to write texts and emails. Android's ecosystem isn't quite as good nor are its apps generally as polished, but since I'm paying out of pocket, I'm fine with getting a great phone, and lesser experience for way less than what an iPhone would cost. The phone does seem to have minor bugs here and there (hanging) but nothing catastrophic or makes me regret my decision. It's not good enough to convert skeptics who love Apple, but feels like it has good value packed into it. The Tensor G2 chip doesn't slay on synthetic benchmarks, but the phone still feels snappy for my needs (I don't game but i do have a million browser tabs open at a time). It has 12GB RAM, which I thought was more relevant to my needs vs. the S22 Ultra, whose low end model skimped with only 8GB.

Google also feels like they're going to commit to the phone as a platform rather than putting it into the grave like Stadia, because they won't want to turn around and not have any distribution the way Facebook finds itself hosed now.

Mint service is very YMMV, if you live in a highly populated area, it's probably fine. I never had any issues. Good luck to those who are interested!

EDIT Sorry my mistake: 45 not 75
Hey mate since your coming from the pixel 3xl how are the wide angle selfies? I'm debating on switching and the only thing that's keeping me with the 3xl was the wide angle selfie. In comparison is it pretty similar?

Hmmm, historically, are there better deals to get a new phone than this? I need both a phone and plan anyway.

I ordered one when the offer first came out. Used AMEX Offer to get $45 credit.
The phone is unlocked. I activated on my existing Google Fi.
The plan is NOT tied to the phone. I used it on another family member's existing phone without any problem. You get extra 6 months (total of 12 months) if porting in a number.
Tried to sell it on craiglist. No responses. I guess people are cautious.

Yeah but how's the battery health? I'm willing to bet it's down to around 70 percent max capacity.

I'd use eBay for something like that, not craigslist.

Good question. I went to settings, battery...but it doesnt give a health percentage. Only that its 100% charged at the moment.

Use the Accubattery app. It takes a handful of charges for it to do the health calculations.
