Nothing stopping you, but it will show as currently financed until the 2 years are up, or if you pay it off early. If you choose to pay it off early, the bill credits on your account will continue for the full 2 years, but you'll be able to sell a truly paid off phone.

Just know that the device cannot be unlocked until it has been on the T-Mobile network for 40 days.

I had a similar situation last year. Had to bug TF out of them to get it resolved. You have my sympathies.
Same here for 2 iPhone trade-ins. Called over 5 times, each with them promising it would be resolved and then never hearing back. Not doing any T-Mobile deals that depend on them crediting back the money via statements.

My son's phone finally died. Took advantage of this deal on Saturday trading in an old moto something. Got the revvl 6 pro for 50 bucks which adds a few good features like 6gb of ram, 4 cam array with a 50mp main and wireless charging as well as a 5000 mah battery. Oh and a power button finger print scanner.

The one plus is supposed to have a higher refresh rate screen and a few other goodies but they did not have that one in stock.

So pro 6 plus otterbox case to see if the phone lasts and $80 out the door.

This should've been posted on SuckerDeals not Slickdeals.

I did the oneplus n200 promo last year as a backup phone for the family and it's been put to use multiple times. I've got 6 lines so it helps out with these free ones. Thanks!

"Any phone is eligible", that is any phone, any condition.

I don't understand the reason behind this. Why they even bother? Do they expect ppl to keep old phones around? What do they do with traded in 'junk' phones anyway?

I got 8 phones (4x N200, 4x REVVL V+ 5G) from when the deal first began, probably close to 2 years ago. Traded in flip phones from Sprint or Verizon that didn't even have IMEI numbers and got monthly statement credits. I may still have a Nextel phone to do this promo.

I don't even understand how anyone can complain about basically free phones. I guess since I'm only paying about $140 for 9 lines I'm also a lot less likely to switch to another provider.

Did you talk to TForce on Twitter? The ones on the phone are useless but TForce fixed some F-ups for me when trading in 4 phones earlier this year via mail. But I have heard the horror stories with trading in stuff to anyone (TMo, Samsung) which is why I took video and photos of the phones prior to packing them showing them completely reset and not damaged. Even saved the confirmation when I mailed them via FedEx at a Staples location.

They still tried to screw me out on one phone not being turned in "damaged" until I got in contact with TForce and told them I had video and photo proof prior to packing. It was fixed within an hour or two.

Yes for sure, try all of them, make sure you trade the latest model flagships or experience won't be the same.

I just traded an iphone XR, credits started showing up in just a few weeks.

Hope the small claim filing fee is less that the cost of the phone!
