Hey first time posting, just wanted to share a deal I came across. I've been trying to build a PC for a friend, but at this price point, I believe it's worth buying custom prebuilt instead of building. It's cheaper if you downgrade the motherboard or lower the ram.

Clicking on link, shows the pc for sale has a Ryzen 5 5500 not a 7 5700. Also showing the RAM @ 16Gb and not 32GB

Edit: I realized I spoke to soon and it's customizable

There's a lot of negative sentiment around CyberpowerPC from what I'm seeing after some light research. Anyone actually buy from them and have a good experience?

Bought a PC from them about 2 years ago right around Halloween. Computer was great until it randomly died on me a couple months ago. I tried buying a new PSU thinking it was that but it still won't power up. I'm guessing it's a fried motherboard at this point. Warranty is expired so I'm a little disappointed.
I had ram and psu failure from a cyberpower machine and their cases suffocate. I wouldn't do it if I were you guys. You will upgrade those parts regardless and find yourself with junk

Am getting this so thinking the $50 rebate is no longer available?

Bought one from Best Buy 2 years ago. I needed to update the drivers, update the mb bios, and remove memory xmp settings before the PC became stable. After that, it's run like a champ. I also like how the air flow is drawn from the top of the case as it seems to limit the amount of dust sucked in. I upgraded the memory and have it running at xmp settings.

My sister in law bought the exact same PC as I did. In addition to having to do all the above, a nvme slot went bad. Which took me a long time to diagnose as I've never had an actual mb slot go bad on me before. I moved the SSD to the 2nd nvme slot and it's been running like a champ as well.

I've been waiting for another non water cooling cyberpower system SlickDeal for my kid.

tldr: due to less compatible parts being thrown into the build, you may have to tinker with these a bit to get them to be stable, but they are a good deal on sale. I would buy one of these over a proprietary system from Dell and the like. I found the parts in my cyberpower pc to be reasonable budget parts and not cheap. I would buy again.

Anything that should be upgraded for this? I want to jump on it, it will be my 1st gaming pc. Any advice? How it compares to the Costco blk friday gaming pc ?
This honestly seems like a better deal over the MSI costco Black Friday deal

The Costco MSI is what I planned to buy but am curious how well this compares.

Seems MSI benchmarks a bit higher on CPU but lower on GPU.
MSI has 2TB HD vs 1TB.
Both have same 32GB DDR4 RAM though MSI is 3200mhz vs 3600mhz
Both have 1TB SSD.
MSI has 650W PS vs 600W but you can upgrade the CyberPower to Coolermaster or Deepcool 850W for $38 if you wanted.
MSI comes with gaming mouse/keyboard vs nothing.
CyberPower has liquid cooling vs not.
CyberPower comes with some freebie games vs not.
Prices as posted are same.

It seemed worth it to pay for a better power supply to be futureproof.
