Lie-flat seats $1500 roundtrip.

In case anyone is wondering- I flew them before restrictions lifted and the flight was fine. Save your money and don't buy their food- bring your own food- their food is bland.

Pay for the more expensive luggage weight because if you want to change it later on, there's is an additional service fee.

This a great rate for Summer - hoping the regular airlines match or come close.

FWIW, I just booked a LAX-NRT for mid January for $600 on United for my family of 5 when zip air was offering this $550 price. Figure the $50 price difference was worth it as United offered food, seat assignment and 1 free check-in (including bringing a bike!)

They seem really strict on their carry on luggage and charge for everything.

Ticket seem cheap at first, but they charge for everything. They charge $41 (looking at from Los Angeles) if carry-on goes over 15 lbs combined. $59 for each check-in luggage. These charges are for each way. Don't know how much for seat selection. These charges add up very quickly.

It's a budget version airline so similar to spirit and Ryanair in Europe. It's really meant for light travelers so those who wants to buy a lot of stuff or carry a lot will not benefit from this deal. When I used Ryanair they had this box that will weight and also measure your carry-on. If it doesn't fit it gets checked in.

I'm glad I came here to see they charge for everything and they have bad food. We always fly JAL/AAA which has good food and (at least theu 2019) 2 - 50lb check in bags were included in the price

They also fly out from San Jose too. ForMarch (close to cherry blossom high season) it's under $500 and$1075 for lie-flat. That's amazing.

Beware that there are no IFE screens and you pay for everything (or don't pay if you don't need it) like amenities kit (blankets, slippers, eyeshade), food and drinks, etc.
