    I tried to get the Pulse Red earlier this morning from Amazon, but it sold out during the checkout process. I'm glad Best Buy matched the price; I just got it from them. I loved that color!

    I own two genuine Xbox 360 controllers with a genuine dongle and two xbone controllers also with a genuine dongle. They are both very good except for the d-pad issue on the 360 and the game dependent bluetooth issue on the xbone controllers.

    You are high-AF if you think an $18 clone controller can touch a genuine microsoft peripheral.

    Do modern xbox controllers still have that issue with the d-pad? I remember years ago people complained about the disc shaped d-pads on xbox controllers always being inaccurate, ex. you press down but it goes diagonal down. That made me opt for a PS controller with the cross shaped d-pad.

    No, the circle d-pad here is much clickier and stiffer than you may think compared to the old 360 EOL mushy ones you're talking about. These new ones are a bit too plasticky honestly, but at least it's accurate.

    Someone was like "let's take the elite controller d-pad and just make it out of plastic" and it went as well as you think.

    Along with my message above, I will also echo others and say that the dpad is miserably loud. Makes the controller feel a bit cheap. The ergonomics are a lot better here though.

    The whole thing gives a bit and it's kinda creaky and squeeky. Keeping my older controller around to play at night.

    Also! Don't know if this helps anyone, but this controller now works natively on iOS and Android with Bluetooth. No need for any third party solutions since it just connects. Call of Duty Mobile is way too easy with this now and it works great with Gamepass streaming.
