So far, Acer is the only monitor brand that died on me after only 2 years.
It should carry a 3-year warranty but without receipt it will depend on the production date (if they would honor it at all).
It just happened, so I'm still sour and don't know the outcome
Got this exact monitor on Black Friday from Walmart in 2020 for $155. Great monitor for the price. The high refresh rate is good for gaming. You can sometimes notice lower resolution on text up close and whatnot but for most uses, it is good.
Need a two monitor setup to use for work which is mainly Microsoft word, web browsing, excel and you tube videos. Would this be fine? Or get something better?
Same size IPS HP X32 1440p is $230. Avoid VA unless it's only for gaming.
This is not true. A vast majority of living room TVs use VA panels. VA panels, among other benefits, have much higher contrast ratios. The black colors on IPS panels look grey and washed out compared to VA and OLED. And I have owned all 4: OLED, VA, IPS and TN panels.

The actual display quality on this is pretty good though?

Low resolution for size
But for the price… not terrible.

Will this work with a PS5?
