Now I'm only seeing pending cash back on Capital One for the first order but nothing for my re-order. Is this the same case for you as well?
Here's my experience both times:
1) place order and nothing shows up in cashback yet
2) payment clears next day and a few hours later I check CapOneShopping account and can see the NordVPN cashback entry.
3) about half a day later from that point, I receive an email from CapOneShopping confirming the cashback from NordVPN has been added to my account. So basically it's 48 hrs from when order was placed.
Now just need to wait to find out if the amount becomes available for a "subscription service" in 30 or 60 days.
It's ok, it doesn't matter to me which cashback program anyone uses. I don't make anything from this and just wanted to share a good deal.
At least slickdeals bumped their cashback on NordVPN from 70% originally up to 100% to match what CapOne was offering. Top was offering 105% but I am not familiar with them and would prefer to go with a banking institution even if it's for less cashback. I bit on the deal at 90%

I'll probably jump on this deal as I'm currently using a free 6mo trial of Keepsolid VPN and it broke on my Linux PC when I upgraded the OS and has been spotty on my Windows PC

But yeah, I'm always really paranoid about the smallest thing affecting a CB too. I usually dump everything in the cart, then do the CB page, so that it's loaded right before I checkout

It also keeps you safer when using public wifi (not completely safe, but safeR) because hackers can sniff your data packets and steal your info for things like identity theft.
But for example, let's say you're a sports fan. If you subscribe to NFL league pass, MLB league pass, NBA league pass, etc you know there are blackout games that you can't watch until like a few days after the actual event. All local games get blacked out which sucks!
Well with vpn, you can spoof your location and all of the sudden you can view all those blackout games live. (It's not exactly this simple anymore but still possible). Not only this but you can also get discounts for those league passes by buying the subscription from another country. A $200 subscription here isn't that much in a 3rd world country. It's only a fraction of it. Now does it make sense why VPN is very useful 😉
