I like the idea but I think that two things may kill this deal.

The first is ..how easy is it to scratch the paint and have rust? It is not terribly hard with the thermos. Granted, it still works well...but looks like hell then.

The second is....it looks like that unless I want to buy 4 of these, I am paying to ship.
And that makes me think the deal is no better than the Amazon deal with no shipping.

Bought last year, very thin metal, dents easily. Dropped once with full thermos and food inside and a hinge broke.

Back in the day these were real quality. My dad had one that came with the thermos. It was unpainted metal. That thing was a tank. He took it to work day in and day out for as long as I remember and it still looked great. No rust.

I prefer something insulated. If you have to leave it in a vehicle it's nice to not have everything cooking before you can eat it.
