Good deal but they are cracking. There will be a fire sale after BF.
That's it, I'll pull the trigger
Not even gonna wait for the new gen to drop?

This is about $60 cheaper than the cheapest 6700 XT and about 10% less performance. 16.6% lower cost for 10% performance loss while using significantly less power. I'm really tempted, but I'd rather buy from Amazon.

I got an asus 6700 XT 12gb from amazon for 349. Is that good? Getting back into these cards lol. TIA
I got the same but leaning towards keeping 6700 XT looking at the prices till now. I think it will age better than Rx 6700 which is 6-10% faster than 6650 XT.

The streaming core, RT cores, Memory bus, max core boost speed is better on 6700 XT which makes it better for 1440p card and also upcoming titles on 1080p.

The Nvidia prices listed are crazy low on that chart if I could get a 3060 ti for that cheap I would.
Super misleading. You can get a REFURB from Newgg for $340. I put buying a refurb from Newegg in the same tier as buying a video card from a random stranger on a street corner.

I bought the 6600 xt for 230 tax all in refurbished. It was new and I benchmarked it for 10 hours, no problem. YMMV but free returns assuming Newegg doesn't screw you

So 6600 at $200 seems about the same price: performance as 6700 at $300 yes?

Added the price for Zip Pay payment getting an extra 11% of with Code ZIP11
Can't double stack $30% and zip11 code together, have to pick either one.

they're hesitant but they do give you a gift card for the difference excluding tax. i bought ddr5 ram for $268 pre-deals, which then dropped to $225 when the deals started coming through and i spent like 20-ish minutes with customer service live chat and ask them if they can refund me the difference or i can either ship back the product since I haven't opened it.

they ultimately gave me a 43 dollar gift card code.

No 6600 but should give you an idea.

I feel like this video is a good primer on the current pricing situation for GPUs:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b...KFs&t=700s [youtube.com]

I wouldn't consider this to be great deal since it's not a huge improvement over the RX 6650 XTs which are around $250. Although there are no mid/lower tier GPUs being released for a few months the 7900 XT and XTX would likely put downward pressure on the stack. I wouldn't be too worried about missing out on this 'sale' as this matches up with the price norms.
Do you have links for $250 6650XT? I found one on newegg after rebate but the average price seems to be much higher generally, the cheapest one on amazon is 265

I bought this card on newegg for $319.99 last week. I'll try to ask for the differences now its cheaper only a week later. We'll see.

This card is very good though. I'm running it at 2600Mhzclock and 2100 ram. 1060Mv and in games I'm rarely seeing temps past 60c and wattage over 120. I'm playing at 1440p. No mans Sky, Horizon set to Ultra 120Fps is average. Previous card was the RX580 and this one is a big upgrade coming from that.

I went with this card because I just wanted to extend the life of my AM4 board and present system without a big pay out for upgrades. 550w Gold PSU and a AB350m mobo, Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB 3200Mhz Ram playing on a NVme drive.

Most of what he is playing that I consider at least somewhat intensive in some way:

Couple of CoDs (World at War, Black Ops III)
WWE 2k22
Elden Ring
Rainbow Six Siege
Apex Legends
Minecraft

There's the occasional Overwatch as well. Everything he runs generally ran fine the last time he was home at 1080p. (He's in college & the machine only gets used when he is home over breaks these days.) I just like to try to stay fairly current because who knows if he wants to play Modern Warfare or some other new game at a high setting.
RX 6700 is meant for 1440p. On avg with max settings, it'll do 60-80 fps on 1440p. If you go 4K with it, you'll probably need to bump down the details to med or low to get ~70 fps.

But like someone said, it is significantly faster than GTX 1080 and probably can almost double fps if the CPU won't be the limiting factor...
