    Simply put I answered your question... I can't help it if it wasn't simplified enough for you to grasp what I was saying...

    The DC motor is wire wrapped.. meaning larger, heavier, less efficient power wise, producing more heat, often more vibration.

    Magnetic motor is what I stated, most likely known as brushless as seen in power tools. I explained the benefits.

    As for what they are calling magnetic, I do not know.

    If you want to know more, Google it rather than being an ass to someone offering you a reply and thanking them.

    Above is based on electronics degree and helping build and design dental and hospital equipment that use both traditional brushed and newer brushless tech.

    False, I'd suggest spending more on a better quality wired version. Last thing you want is a low battery when that thing is attached to your hair.
    Either way this is not a slick deal.

    a magnetic motor will be smaller, lighter and more power efficient vs a DC motor that will be wire wrapped. I'm assuming that it is equal to being what is known as a brushless motor when they are saying "magnetic".

    I bought this about two years ago during covid craziness. Paid about $15 after tax, which was a really good price at the time since clipper prices started going through the roof. It's a basic kit but does the job. I'm very happy with it and it has paid for itself multiple times over since I've learned to give myself a haircut and save $20+ every month.

    I've used this model as a beard trimmer for 10 years+. They used to be $10, then they were $14 at brandsmart, so to me this is a slick deal. I go through about 1 per year. I have used it to cut my hair before, but it gets my beard to my desired length, and I use it about twice a week.

    Those are beard trimmers so not the same thing as a true hair trimmer.
