Magnetic motor is what I stated, most likely known as brushless as seen in power tools. I explained the benefits.
As for what they are calling magnetic, I do not know.

False, I'd suggest spending more on a better quality wired version. Last thing you want is a low battery when that thing is attached to your hair.

Those are beard trimmers so not the same thing as a true hair trimmer.
