Ummm it features bang and olufsen audio design, whatever the heck that means, but for under $100 don't be ridiculous and think this is made by b&o or contains b&o components, it does not

For under $100, this monoprice 2.1 bar and sub might be the best you can do. I have owned it for nearly a year, it is quite bass heavy, but has Bluetooth and hdmi arc and overall very clear sound. It's about $70 shipped with tax after code BF15.

And how do either of these compare with the TCL Alto 5+ for $59 at Walmart?
Not looking for a mind blowing experience, just audio that beats built-ins on a new TCL 5-Series. I've used built-ins all my life so not picky at all.

I think this price is very reasonable. If you want a small soundbar at your desk, this measures in at 23" long. Yes, you can get better sound out of a pair of studio monitors and a separate subwoofer. But if you're looking for simplicity, this is a good solution IMO.
Been using it daily since Nov 2020 and it gets plenty loud while also delivering. For computer use, you can't use the HDMI input since computers don't do ARC. But you do have optical, 3.5mm or Bluetooth as options. If you have a smaller TV setup or something, then this is a good compact sound bar for that.
