This is what I ordered today. With 3 years Ultimate Support and nurse discount, I paid $1792. Going to ask for the new customer discount when they are open for chat in the morning. Thanks!
Let me know if it works for you. I tried and they did not budge.

I got this one today. I really wanted 2TB because 1TB is too
little for me.
Hopefully I get the 15% Cashback from another site which would make this $255 cheaper.
I also used PayPal with chase freedom which gets me 5% this quarter so another $85 back.

This is an excellent laptop. Using it as a desktop replacement. Picked it up on the last sale.

Excellent thermals!!! Running Topaz Video AI as I type - going on 9 hours (1 hour twenty min left). dGPU using 1.77 of 1.79 GHz. VRAM using 7.00 of 7.00GHz. CPU using about 3.78 of 4.93 GHz. (Balanced mode). Fans are at max and def audible but not 'jet engine'. Max temps are 73.3 to 76.6 across the 4 cores (in the die). (Core temps range from 60 to 71.5). Laptop is raised about 2 inches off the desk. Ambient is 72 in the house.

The modem is ok. Its a different Mediatek than the one that gets most complaints. Will replace with an Intel shortly.

(Doesn't the 'other site' cap out at $100.00/purchase?)

No soldered RAM apparently but I lost trust in Lenovo's repairability since most of their other laptops are soldered RAM and hard to open.

For $400 more I got the Dell XPS 17, a slightly weaker GPU but 28% better CPU and with a touchscreen.

Seems like a good deal specs wise. Gen 4 pci-e SSD, 32gb DDR, 500nits screen, 3070ti, etc. Future proof.

Just got this in and the touchpad basically doesn't work. Looks like it's a fairly common issue on these. Not sure if I'll replace or return. Pretty disappointing for the price that basic input is flaky though the specs are great.

Thanks. But won't the additional discount/credit cancels the cash back from other site?
That is why it's a call/chat, most likely they will honor you new customer discount if your purchase of big enough

3070Ti is only a marginal performance increase over 3070 so don't overpay for the "Ti" part.

They didnt give it because they said its not stackable with Holiday Surprise, which is already $100 off 😞

Compared to other powerful laptop deals, this seems worth it for the gamers (GPU over CPU), and is overall a very strong system, with 32GB DDR5 and 2TB SSD's, but for video editing it seems cheaper deals with Intel i7 make more sense, since 3070Ti is not needed and that's rly the premium you're paying for here.

Compared to say a $1000 Helios 300 deal, the CPU here is 25% weaker and the GPU here is 36% stronger (per UserBenchmark)

Also better screen here, etc.

Yeah but new generation of CPU too.

This is a 6800h/3070ti model, but 1400

I got the email from the other site that I'm getting $525 in cash back (I bought 2 laptops).
With that Cashback it's a steal

Wouldn't say future-proof, esp w/ 4000 series around the corner, but easily the best laptop $ can buy until then.
