I had the exact same experience. Even though it gave me the $1 offer, once I put it in my cart, it changed to $14.99, probably because I did this before. So instead, I bought a $3.99 CDKeys month and then it applied automatically. That's 6 years (3 before, 3 now) for $200!

Got it to work. In the process of converting from Gold to Game Pass, it didn't give me an option to turn off recurring billing. I specifically noted that recurring billing wasn't turned on for Gold.

I went in after adding it and it said if you turned off recurring billing, it dropped you down from Game Pass Ultimate to a lesser subscription.

I can live with having to go in in a few years and turning it off consider the savings.

I bought one just to test it and then the other two together. Doesn't seem to matter so long as you don't convert to the game pass until after you've added them to your gold account.

I was able to buy 2 years from cdkeys before my payment kept on getting rejected. would it be possible to add a third year tomorrow even though I already converted it to game pass today?

Sorry, no video, but I just went through the process this morning. Followed the op, except I went with the enoba/turkey purchase. It worked flawlessly. I used the website for everything except the 1month game pass Ultimate portion. All redemptions of the codes were on the website, while VPN was active.

Sorry is this the correct screen? It does not say what my conversion ratio is. Do I just assume its 1 to 1?

No. Once you have converted, you will need to wait for it to expire. If you add another year's worth now it will convert to 4 months of gamepass Ultimate.

You can turn it off now so you don't forget. The wording they use make it sound like the GPU will be cancelled, but it will continue perfectly fine until your prepaid time runs out.

Yep, but it will be 3 years from today if you activate today, not 3 years from when you turn on the xbox after christmas. You can also play gamepass games on pc from now until christmas while you wait for the xbox. (you can play pc games after too, a good portion of the gamepass catalog is on both xbox and pc, some games are only pc, some games are only xbox)
