I haven't seen this on sale much, but looks like $100 off for either the Palette 3 or Palette 3 Pro. The difference, the Palette 3 supports 4 colors, the Pro supports 8.
I have the Prusa MMU2S, but it really doesn't work well, so was considering upgrading to this.
To clarify, this is NOT a 3d printer. This is an addon to most 3d printers that allows you to print in up to 8 colors in the same print automatically. This is similar to the Prusa MMU2S, but instead of loading/unloading colors, the Palette splices together filament which eliminates some of the points of failure.

There is also the new P1P for $699 and you can buy the AMS separate for multl color which is only $350. Also this can be combine for 16 color printing!
No, most likely not, their firmware is proprietary and probably compatible only with their printers.

Oh boy, kinda has a similar experience with a Ender 3 V2 but i ended up printing as much as I have ever printed with the ender in a year in just a week with the x1 carbon, just cos it's so fun to print with (and super fast)
