That's not true. I've had the peephole cam for years. You get alerts, it just doesn't save video to the cloud long term. You can see like 24 hours or something like that

Just FYI, this can't ring your existing doorbell chime. You have to get a chime kit to have an indoor chime

What hells you are talking about!
You don't pay subscription you get nothing except watching live video. you don't have any videos recorded for you.
I trashed my Ring junk to my own NVR based system, never pay subscription .

As said no saved videos, only live stream if you not to pay subscription
