64 fl oz not 64 dry oz. Big difference. Will hold about 1 lb of ground coffee and less than that for whole bean depending on pea size and darkness of roast. Darker roasts have less moisture and less weight per volume.
Get an airscape if you're serious about keeping coffee fresh. This is gimmicky nonsense otherwise.
You can put your weed in there.

I'd buy 4 of the $12 medium Airscapes and keep a pound of beans in each instead of having them all in one large container. That way when you're opening a container to get beans, only a quarter of the beans are being accessed and the rest of the beans are sealed away until you need them. The medium holds a pound of beans and the Kilo size ($30 on Amazon [amazon.com]) holds 2.2 lbs of beans (so you could do two Kilos also).
Thank you!

And how do you know the "Airscape Technology" isn't gimmicky?

In my case, reviews from people I trust and personal experience.

Also the Coffee Gator solution just doesn't make sense given what I know about storing coffee. I'm hardly an expert, though.

I have used Airscape for years and recently gave Coffee Gator a try. I notice that the Coffee Gator keeps the beans fresher longer. My testing periods are usually just 2 weeks (3 weeks max when I go on vacation). The Airscape loses the aroma after the first week while the Gator keeps it for the full 2 weeks. My guess is that the Gator is better at preventing air flow. What makes the coffee loses its aroma is not the volume of air but the rate of airflow. You can squeeze all the air from the foil bag but if it still allows air to come and go then you will still lose aroma. Airscape flexible flap does not prevent airflow well after extended use. It loses its tightness after a couple of months with daily opening and closing. On the other hand, the Gator has no moving seal. It just has a simple rubber gasket. Granted using one of those tulip glass jars can achieve the same seal but this is where the CO2 valve comes to play. I drink my coffee 1-2 weeks after roasting. The degassing is still happening during that time. Just my 2 cents as a fellow coffee addict.

It takes half a second to look it up, yet instead you make absurd claims about me being a shill.

Let me help your unable-to-google self: Airscapes come in steel and ceramic canisters. They have plungers to remove air. They do not allow in light, which is a major advantage over anything glass or plastic.

Hardly overpriced, but hey, for people who don't care about coffee or know anything about it like yourself, it could be.

"Lol"
After trying numerous coffee storage solutions, over the years, I've found the Airscape canisters to be far superior to anything else that I've tried. I use their small (8 oz) container for ground coffee and the medium (16 oz) container for whole bean storage. Highly recommend them!

I'll make the third (fourth?) recommendation for an Airscape -- and this is such a good deal on Airscape right now that I bought extra sets for my family.

What company is this ? Are they selling rebranded airscape stuff or they're a competitor ?

Planetary Design (makers of the Airscape canisters), offers these to retailers as promotional items. You'll find that many coffee roasters offer these with their logos.

That is a great deal if you were wanting an Airscape. I just cannot see the difference between this and just keeping it in the original bag and rolling the top down tight and clipping it. I guess it looks better in a nice can? But 12 bucks w/free shipping is almost a no-brainer.
How bout this: Roll up and seal the bag of coffee and put it inside this canister. That would look a lot nicer on the counter than the bag!

Lol, can just put ground coffee in a Ziploc and push air out as much as possible when sealing.

The second you grind coffee you have a finite amount of time to brew before the quality plummets. Storing ground coffee is silly, especially if you have a grinder. Grind it fresh. Always.
