I clicked the coupon to get the $7.50 price and Amazon gave me an error popup. I had to reload the page to get rid of the error and now and the coupon disappeared. Evidently it's expired or YMMV.

This nonexistent or conditional deal thing is frequent enough that methinks these deals are a bait and switch to just get us in the door / on the site.

Maybe the solution is to start leaving crap product reviews. I don't mind deals that are limited because they're to clear out old stock in short supply. And deals are fine if they exist only for a clearly announced limited time, e.g., black Friday. But come on, Amazon, don't give me click bait.

No coupon for me, but I was able to get the variety pack for $8.92 with 15% S&S discount.

Looks like a good % off but 5g of protein is not a lot for a protein bar. For active folks, guidance is generally to eat 0.5x-1.0x grams of protein per pound of body weight per day.

Yeah strange. I was able to use the coupon plus 15% S&S and brought the price down to $10.49 on the variety pack before tax. NOW, when I go to the product page it shows $10.50 as the sale price and I can get S&S price for $8.93.
