Is this a good knife for cutting up fish? Son caught a fish off the dock and wanted to eat for lunch, but our knives are retarded that the fish ended up suffering :,(

Thanks, just ordered 6 knives. The company doesn't have good reviews on BBB & Yelp, but they're mostly from large items they ship that require a truck to deliver. They do have a legit warehouse where they do wholesale, retail and also have catalogs. A couple people complained after payment was made, they were notified the item was not in stock and was on back-order. Just hoping for the best because the prices are too hard to pass up.

Looks like this may be dead. Was in process of checking out for the 7" santoku and then it disappeared from my cart and the page will no longer load for several knives.

I almost bit, but will be taking a pass. It's either fakes or factory seconds/customer returns. Not interested in either. There's just no reason for 100% kosher Ikons to be this cheap. Also can't imagine this no-name place having some kind of VIP access to this product at unheard of prices. At best these "fell of a truck", at worst they're Chinese replicas.

Just an update on this company ( Central Restaurant Supply ). I ordered 6 knives and received one. Their customer service called me to say the rest are on back-order. I said ok refund me for the ones on back order then charge when they arrive. They said they're not setup to do that for web orders. I gave them a couple weeks and their rep was responsive, but things were going nowhere so I just asked for a refund which they honored.

They refunded me the full price, so basically I ended up getting a free knife, LOL. And it is not a fake, it's razor-sharp legit. Overall, I think this company is used to dealing with big commercial customers.
