I have this lens. It's very sharp for a zoom but gets noticeably soft when zooming past about 240mm and autofocus speed is average at best. It's good if you want an all-in-one lens especially at this price if you don't mind the size and weight.
"Compatible Mount Sony E-Mount (APS-C)".

Crop.
Totally not comparable. This is all in one purpose APSC lens of approx 16x zoom with price of $400. And the other one is fast full frame lens of 2.2.x zoom costing more than $1000. Different market different purposes.

Having said this is really a good value lens for $400. I am surprised it's not getting much love. May be many have made their phone as primary camera 😀

Anyone here have any experience on any E-mount camera with this lens? Looking for an honest, non-compensated opinion.

This works for E-mount lenses so yes. This will work on both crop and full frame

It's an aps-c lens so will only take cropped pictures on full frame bodies

Usually standard zoom lenses that start at 18mm are for crop sensor. Full Frame tend to start at 24 or 28mm.

Nope. This is APS. And technically, E-mount is APS, and the same exact mount used for full-frame is called FE mount.

Though its APSC lens but you can still mount on a full frame, camera automatically crops out (unless you change in settings). Anyways it doesn't make sense to buy this for full frame. It is designed for APSC.
