I know this says it doesnt pair with other orbis (like an sxk80) but im curious if im using everything in just AP mode with a non orbi router (opnsense for me) in wired backhaul mode if itll still work and do mesh like functionality?

I doubt it since it syncs with the router skr30. Requires Orbi Pro WiFi 6 Mini Router. Settings are configured in the cloud based app.

Bummer. I have a dead rbr50 and 2 working rbs50s working as APs with my opnsense router still so i was hoping it doesnt need to be configured at all but i suppose it needs an orbi router for the first configuration.

How's to the 2-pack for $166? My sxk80 was just delivered, but I think it's a little bit overkill.

If speed isn't an issue then no biggie however this satellite only outputs AX1800 speed while the SK80 does AX6000 (roughly 5x the speed). So the satelite could be a bottleneck if speed is a concern

Terrible price from third party seller.

SXK30 2 pack was $98 and 3 Pack was $145 from Amazon... keep an eye on the amazon listing if they come back on backorder

Ill pull the trigger. Is for the basement and if it doesn't bottleneck the entire network ill be happy. I recall earlier orbi setups that would only work as fast as your slowest satellite. Hopefully that is a thing of the past.
