I don't have this set, but I do have the larger version and the quality of the sockets is excellent. I use them periodically (frequent home DIY projects - tractors, cars, equipment, etc). The case is still in one piece after 2+ years. I'm very careful with it but it is decent.
This seems like a lot for a deep-only metric set without extensions, but I know it gives you extra large sizes... For automotive work (no farm or heavy duty stuff), what's folks' thoughts on this set: https://www.harborfreight.com/12-...58680.html ?
I don't know about this kit personally but sunex brand is very good quality. I have their master sets 1/4 to 1/2 metric and sae. They work very well including their wobbly impacts.

Ya it's spendy imo. I'd probably get this instead.
Been just using regular sockets, recent did my front suspension, really would like impact but price is very prohibitive. Maybe I should just get individual sockets: 17, 19 or something.

Search on here for the Husky impact socket set. It will cover most needs and is more affordable than this deal.

31mm is uncommon in my experience but so are several other sizes they include. A 1 1/4" socket is interchangeable with 31mm if you have an SAE set.
