Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I still see the $25 deal posted on T-mobile.com front page.

The $100 prepaid card terms doesn't require any voice lines, you can get just the internet line for $50 and per the terms it still applies so you definitely got a ignorant bad shady rep.

You can try your luck in-store, try to go to a corporate store as they are usually less pushy to get you buy more unnecessary stuff and less shady. Or try your luck by ordering online by yourself.

So for existing T-Mobile customers I literally spent an hour and 32 minutes on the phone getting this promo so the loophole here is you would have to cancel the Internet that you have right now and then you place an order for this promo for The unlimited home Internet by January or feb I'll see the $25 for life on my bill cycles forever ♾ so it can be done ✅ cause I did it but you'll be on the phone for a bit. But it's doable if one rep says no hang up and try again

So you tried and tried again until you got a rep that told you what you wanted to hear, which directly contradicts the T&C's of this promo?

yes it's on the t&c's but they did it I just got the confirmation for the new internet coming in January the reason why I was able get it was because I had no line on the internet what I mean by that is on the internet modem I never took advantage of the on one on us so there wasn't a free line I took from t-Mobil and that's how I got this loophole. Admittedly like I said it'll take some time but it's doable

Seems weird that you need to cancel existing Internet line first.

Because the promo term said you need to reactive canceled lines if you cancel any line within the last 90 days, in order to add new line.

I am existing Home internet customer, so I simply added the 2nd Internet line for $25. Once the 2nd line activated, I will cancel the 1st line which is $50 per month and keep the $25 line.

The main issue is the promo (and all TMO promos) are set in the system to apply to all eligible accounts, and that is why you can do what I did, and simply order the service online, once I (well, the system, really) determined my location was eligible. Once I was able to proceed with the transaction, I became eligible (in the eyes of the system) for the service. It looks at all parameters to determine promo eligibility programmed (namely dates of promo period, account type, SOC codes, number of lines versus maxed - requires a plan change) etc. , and when any parameter pops up that doesn't match the way it was coded, the promo will be denied. That's not to say it's the end of the story, since reps cannot override the system to 'give' you the promo, but they can simply credit your account for the amount of the promo. That is what takes patience and work. If anyone is expecting the system to ignore an ineligible parameter (90 days no line canceled, etc.) they are mistaken, and will be unpleasantly surprised.

I have a family plan with 5 voice lines. Wanted to confirm that I can only add one line of $25/mo internet and I wouldn't be able to add a second line at $25/mo for a family member who lives at a different location. Is that accurate?

Applause amen

It used to be that reps could apply manually promo codes to an account and override things, but T-mobile updated their system years ago and now the promo codes get applied automatically to the aacounts. Even if the rep added it to an account manually, eventually the promo code would get removed again by the billing system when it validated the promo code again and saw that the account didn't meet the coded requirements.

Good luck though, you got nothing to lose by trying anyways.

When I click on the post link and enter my address it says not available in my area. But I've been using this service of 5G home internet from T-Mobile for 5 months $50/month
call customer rep. call the usa line, india one is bit more difficult
order new HINT discount line.
activate.
wait 90 days cancel existing, return to tmobile.

there is 90 day min wait to cancel anything.
confirmed it with usa csr and india csr

if you are new enough, you can try to talk your way into the 100 master card

Applied through rep 12/08, received the 5G modem/router 12/10 and had activate it right away. So far so good, tower in my area might not be congested because I'm getting max 480/130 on my iPad, less than but not more than 200/90 on my desktop pc using tp-link receiver.
I'm not gamer so I didn't give feedback on ping no buffer 2 TV stream, desktop mini games of my son and YT 2 security cam, smart plug, bulb and echo's, and 5 smartphones.
So far do drop off connections and has consistent signal from anytime of the day and night. For $25 for life? well let's see.

Found this on T-mobile.com as their general guidelines for promos:

How promotional credits for lines or service work

To receive promotional credits for discounted line or service promotions, you must meet all requirements of the promotion within the promo period.

Some promotional credits will apply to your account automatically once you meet the promotion requirements. Please be aware that promotional offers can end at any time.

Other promotional credits require you to enroll on T-Mobile.com/Promotions.

You can have more than one promotional credit per line at a time as long as the promotions are allowed to be combined.

The credits may take up to two full bill cycles to start after you qualify for the promotion.
On the bill, you will see a promotional description for your credit.

Losing promotional credits

We want you to take full advantage of our promotional credit. So, please keep in mind the following, which will disqualify you from continuing to receive promotional credits:

Not signing your E-signature or completing the EIP during the promotional period

Exchanging or returning a device outside of the offer window, where the qualifying EIP is closed

Canceling or changing the plan or service that is required for a credit promotion

Performing a JUMP! upgrade to a new device from a device with a credit

Returning one phone purchased as a BOGO (buy one, get one) offer (BOGO promotions require that you keep both phones and qualifying service)

Not following the terms of the promotion (for example, you must purchase and activate the device on the same day)

Failing to return a deferred trade-in within the allowed time frame

Trade-in received is deemed to be damaged and thus ineligible for continued promo enrollment

I am in a "TMO Dead Zone" and can't get good signal from any tower, will their Home Internet work for me?
Currectly I have to rely on TMP Personal Cellspot for my phones to work inside the house.

A rep called me yesterday (Sunday morning) to see if I was still interested in HSI for $25 a month, and we used a different address temporarily that showed HSI available. Today my account properly shows the details on what looks like a new added line for HSI. Rep also emailed me code for $100 back (I didn't even mention it, the rep did).

So everything is indeed working as it should.

"The code you requested for promo is 2022HINTP10. Go to https://promotions.t-mobile.com/
and use code 2022HINTP10 within 30 days of device receipt and upon meeting all qualifications to redeem your Virtual Prepaid Mastercard"

(log in using computer, account, lines and devices new number now shows for this new line of HSI)

Plan
T-Mobile Home Internet
Applied discounts and promotions:
$5 AutoPay Discount
$25 2022 HINT P22

Also under account, my promotions, service promo:
2022 HINT P22

All occurred in less than 24 hours after signing up in a 10 minute phone call from tmobile rep.

I'm in the same boat. Five bars, 5G signal 1/4 miles from my home. I'm in a bubble, where the signal is 1-2 bars. I tried it, and moved the connection box to at least 10 different areas in the home, and nothing worked well enough for it to be a real replacement for what I currently have. I was able to get 20mbps max, and it was on my deck. Bummer.
