Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

How long do we wait for the $100 gift card? It's been a month since I submitted for it.

For those that are TMHI customers , you can get Paramount+ free for at least a year
Get Phone number assigned to Home Internet Service from account

Go here: https://www.t-mobile.com/tv-strea...l#activate
And follow instructions selecting the 2nd option for home internet
you need phone number assigned to your home internet plan from account pag
Use code at Paramount+, I believe this is in addition to a year you can get with TMO postpaid plan number , so 2 years total

Here are the terms and conditions I received from T-Mobile... TLDR; you need to keep your service for a minimum of 60 days to be eligible for the gift card.

Submit for rebate on #md#[promotions.t-mobile.com ](https://promotions.t-mobile.com/)#/md# using the code 2022HINTP10 within 30 days of activation. Maintain the home internet service for a minimum of 60 days, after submitting for your rebate. Keep the account in good standing. You will receive a takeaway with redemption and validation instructions (attached to this page). If you cancel this new line before 60 days consecutive days of service, you will not be eligible for the virtual Prepaid MasterCard. Rebate processing may take up to 60 days from submission, and you'll receive text message with status updates during processing. Once approved, you should receive a text message or email with your virtual card within seven business days.

Word of advice... Don't listen to reviews that the service "rocks" or "sucks"...

This is not a consistent and predictable service like traditional copper and fiber delivery systems...

With wireless delivery, LOCATION MATTERS. No two people will have the exact same conditions. Even if you are in the same neighborhood, connecting to the same tower, each home will have different characteristics impacting RF interference, strength of signal, line of sight, etc...

Don't count on other people's reviews, you need to try it for yourself in your own location to determine whether the solution "rocks" or "sucks" in your location... There's the 15 day "Test Drive"...take advantage of it...

Not only location matter but time of day (and or day of week) also matter if you live in crowded area. Many people here mentioned certain time of the day, the speed is acceptable. But during the time when most people home using internet, the speed is so slow or inconsistent that playing YouTube video may stop for few seconds every min or two. And that also mean during long holiday like Christmas, Thanksgiving, the usage pattern may be different and have to adjust your own usage if the speed suddenly become very slow. People also mentioned weather also affect 5G signal especially if you are a bit further away from the 5G tower. Good weather day during off peak hour, the speed may be decent even if you are a bit further away but during bad weather, the speed may be inconsistent.

And if your area has more people signup for unlimited home internet, obviously will affect your speed also. In short, 15 days test drive may or may not tell you everything.

On point. I have Verizon and Cox serving my apartment. But I decided to try this out to see how it works. The price is cheap and plus I am getting $100, losing nothing. This is what I noticed. During the day, I get over 400Mbit. Around 6-7 or later, the speed drops down to 40-50.

I will say, when I inquired here if it would work well for me based on our usage, 2 WFH, gaming, lots of connected devices, 7 or so Nest cameras…basically was told probably wouldn't work out well.

Well…so far this has been a pleasant surprise. Left Frontier Fios over a moth ago after testing this for a few weeks. Not a single issue so far. Just as good as fios was.

Haven't seen speeds fluctuating and I have tested numerous times a day/night. Speeds consistently 300+ up and 40+ down. Never below.
