This is a great deal which I ordered last week when it was posted here previously. However, Woot sent me an empty Samsung watch box inside a sealed Amazon/Woot box. Now Woot is insisting I file a fraudulent claim with the USPS before they will issue a refund. I can't find a customer service number anywhere for Woot so I don't know what to do. No deal is worth this kind of terrible headache inducing customer service.
Dispute the charge with your credit card.
Don't forget to follow these steps to enable BP monitor, works like charm on both 4 and 5 watches. BP monitor is disabled in US but can easily be enabled following the steps below.

It works just fine, the 4 and 5 use the exact same apps for it. If you don't like the XDA directions as they are written, here they are reworked to use EFT that I find easier.

*Modified apk's by XDA-Dante63. Original XDA Thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/...2.4322527/
). All I did was (in my opinion) simplify the directions to be easier to follow by using EFT*

Step by Step instructions to get BP and ECG on any Android phone in any country:

* Uninstall Samsung Health monitor from phone if installed already

* Go here: https://drive.google.com/drive/mo...sp=sharing

* Download the phone apk from the main folder

* Download the watch apk from the Wear OS subfolder

* On your watch go to Settings->About Watch->Software(Software info on WearOS 3.5) ->Software Version->Tap until developer options unlocks

* Settings->Developer options->Turn on "ADB Debugging" and "Debug over Wifi"

* Settings->Connections->Wifi->Connect to same network as your phone->Tap this connection and scroll all the way to the bottom where it says "IP Address" and take note of these numbers

* On your phone install "Easy Fire Tools" from the Play store

* Start EFT, tap the menu button in the upper left, tap settings, under "Connection Settings" tap "IP Address" and put in the address you got earlier

* Go back to the main screen of EFT and tap the green plug in the upper right hand corner. You will get a screen that says "Authorization Required". You will then get a prompt on your watch that says "Allow ADB Debugging" tap ok, then tap continue in EFT.

* Back in the main screen of EFT, Tap "Custom APK" then "Select File" and select the watch app you downloaded in step 1 to install

* Wait for app to transfer and install. This might take a while. Do not go away from this screen or it will cancel.

* Install Phone App you downloaded (If your phone tells you it doesn't have permission to do this, go to settings->biometrics and security->install unknown apps->enable it in chrome or a file manager then tap on it again or if on Android 12+ go to Settings->Apps->Special App Access ->Install Unknown Apps)

* Open Watch App (Has an "M" on the icon and should be on the bottom of your app list) and follow setup instructions

* When all done, turn off ADB debugging on the watch from Settings->Developer options

To sync data between Samsung Health and SHM, follow this video: https://youtu.be/ZOAxR8_aB70

Alternatively, you can download Dante's mod companion that does the above in a semi automated fashion: https://youtu.be/a0FO9pwqMkQ

Would this use the same number? I'd like to use the watch standalone and leave my phone
Yes, you can use it as a standalone phone. It gets it's own number technically but you tie it through your phone line via what they call, T-Mobile Digits, which links it directly to your phones phone#.

Also if you call out on your watch, the # will come out as the phone it is tied to so you don't have to give everyone a new phone#

It's still going to be a difficult battle as it is the OP's word against the company and the CC companies will usually side with the company. But don't give up.

I had a similar disagreement with Amazon a few years ago where I returned a $50 set of ear buds that didn't perform to my liking but was told the box was empty on receipt. I told them they were liars and that they needed to film their thieving employees opening up all return shipments. Long story short, it took about 8 back and forth emails threatening to file complaints with various government agencies and the CC company to get them to give me my refund.

There was a news article for something like this happening with regular Amazon orders. Amazon refused to refund until the media contacted them. The person who reported his story to media recommend everyone to take unboxing video.
And also take a video when you box the product for return.

Amazon sometimes doesn't require a box, They let you bring the product to a UPS store and they box and ship the product back. This is how they should do all products to eliminate employee thievery issues.

I'd like a GPS version, as they're usually cheaper, and I assume longer battery life. But I haven't seen the 46mm GPS 4 Classic go for this price new. Am I missing something, or should I just get this deal?

If you'd like to add a phone/data plan to it and already have T-Mobile it's $10 per month for the watch line. However if you just want to use it in Bluetooth mode, a phone line isn't required. I have a silver GW4 Classic on T-Mobile.

same with a black one i got if referb on ebay they had plenty and with that jolly15 ebay code their may be other deals floating around cost was $130

What's your point and what does it have to do with this deal because that deal you weren't walking in and buying a watch for $50.

Yes. You don't have to activate LTE.

UPDATE: Woot sent an e-mail today apologizing for the delay in resolving the issue. They are sending me a replacement watch and a $10 Woot coupon. Thank you to everyone here for your advice and suggestions.

These watches are BS for this kind of money, Barely makes it 24 hours.
Your expectations are out of whack. amolef screen smartwatch. Not a fitness watch. 1 day recharge is the norm on this type of watch
