Not working for returning subscribers. Mine expired about 6 months and it's still pulling up full price at checkout despite showing up in the deals page.

FINALLY! Thank you OP!

I am an returning customer but the PS Plus expired in Nov 2022. I was able to stack 2. Had to login using my PC, then click on "Join Playstation Plus" and then saw the 29.99 price. When I tried to purchase the second one and stack, gave me credit card expired error. Was able to pay using paypal and checkout.

Mine expired a few months back but I can't get it to show me this price. Funny I keep trying to decide whether I am sticking with console or going back to mainly PC. The price of PS Plus etc was one of the reasons I was ready to sell my PS5. This price was good enough that I was ready to cave and keep playing on PS5, so I ordered Need for Speed at Target and was ready to renew. Now I can't get this price lol

If I buy this deal, will I have the option to upgrade to the next tier, PS+ Extra? If so, how much would that cost?

Edit: it looks like PS+ Extra is 30% off, so $70 for a 12 month subscription and PS+ Premium is 25% off

I can confirm. My essential subscription expired last month and I was able to buy 3 years of essential at $29.99 each year.

Not sure if it makes a difference but I bought the first year through my computer and the other 2 through the PS App.

It's tied to whatever account you buy it on (if buying on the PlayStation store) unless you buy the 12 month card in a store (like Best Buy) and then give it to him to activate.
