I ordered one to replace my 11 year-old Corsair HX750W in anticipation of upgrading to a 7900 XT or XTX. Should be enough, from what I've read...

(I have an i7-12700K CPU.)

If it was the new ATX 3.0 or whatever they are calling it, I'd be all over it. It doesn't appear to be, I'll have to pass.

What is ATX 3.0 and what is the importance of its compatibility? I have the same PSU but 750W version, how does it affect me?

It doesn't affect you. That guy is a clown. PSU with ATX 3.0 are just coming out and the guy you quoted wants them to be on deals already. ATX 3.0 basically come with the new PCI 5.0 connectors that Nvidia uses on their 4080 and 4090 eliminating the need to use the cable adapter those cards come with. Hardly a necessity, but it's what all PSU will be in the future.

I am with you. I will use the $140 towards my OLED TV this or next year since I don't play PC games.

Is this worth buying for a first time new PC build I am looking into a possible newer high end AMD card and so I think this will be plenty of power. I just bought the NZHT H7 Case so wondering if there is any possibility of building my case so you can see the draw indicator? Can I mount if vertically I am thinking no based on the reviews and not a lot of creative options.

Is there a good site that helps you design build layout for cases based on components and model numbers easily?

Sorry I am getting into PC building for the first time and looking to jump my learning curve.
