Real men don't need to say that.
Well the Fifine is literally a $30 mic, while the bigfoot is a $100 mic discounted down to $30, so i feel like my point still stands, by entry level i don't mean bottom of the barrel mics, i mean mics under $100 from "reputable" brands like Razer, Behringer, Hyperx, Audio Technica, Blue, Samson, etc, they all have an entry level USB mic priced around $50-$80 and their quality is very comparable with each other. any of those will be a step up from a built-in mic as long as there's not manufacturing defects, and the BIGFOOT is currently a the best deal around.

There is some good advice on YouTube by EposVox on how to get the best use out of this microphone:

bigfoot on amazon is currently less than half the price of this one. On these entry level mics the difference in sound quality is not really noticeable.

Sorry, no. I needed to use a microphone for music lessons, and cheaped out to get a Fifine for $30. Then I noticed a high-pitched noise in the background -- not loud enough but definitely noticeable if you listen carefully. I was able to figure out that the noise is at 1kHz (and I was not hallucinating). I am not using this for professional recording or anything, but this mattered enough that I immediately returned it and got a Blue Yeti Nano. Maybe it was just quality control issue on the Fifine one, but I prefer to spend a bit more money on a Yeti instead of playing the lottery

Are there better and cheaper options out there? You bet. I have multiple Yetis and other brands, but this one is my ride or die microphone for zoom calls. The large and easy-to-access mute button is a life and sanity saver.

Just another way to compensate. Good luck with that 😏
