Assuming it's the same knife, it's a decent medium duty work knife. It's not as durable as a classic steel body retractable utility knife, but blade changes are easier and it's smaller.

- Delivery is via truck from your local or nearby store, and it's always that high regardless of the value of the order. In our area at least, Lowes contracts with a 3rd party for all deliveries, though they use Lowes branded trucks.
- Shipping is from a distribution center via small package carrier for something like this, so if that option was available the charge would be much more reasonable.

I have had and use the same fastback for 3 years now almost daily, would likely be 5 but i lost my previous one. Unless you're constantly dropping this from large heights i don't see how it would break.
but this one also has a slightly different design from the MWFB and is a fraction of the price, so i don't know about the durability of it.
What makes the kobalt one easier to open if they're basically clones?
Got 2, I like clones lol

The Fastback is a good tool for many jobs and is the main box cutter I use, but for heavy use like that a traditional steel box cutter would be the more appropriate tool.

Once you get used to the knife, you can also open it one handed fairly easily. You just press the lock button, lightly flip your wrist, and let go of the lock button to secure it in the open position.
