I'm happy with mine. I was really worried my girlfriend would hate making tea with it because it pours slow, but she likes it. Obviously it's good for pour-over but I need it to do both, and it has.
I didn't expect to use the timer on it but I like it.
$130 is too much for a kettle. I'd buy it again.
I own this and it works good but it isn't a big game changer or anything though. I originally paid $127 for the black version from Costco in July 2021. I have a cheaper kettle I like better now though. I wouldn't pay more than $40 if I were to buy it again.
Great looking Kettle, just keep in mind it only holds about 3 cups of water max. Also, the pouring time requires a bit of patience

Great kettle. I have the Bonavita as well, the Fellow has lots of small improvements thank make it worthwhile. The flow rate from the spout is perfect for coffee, might be slow for tea if you're just trying to fill the cup as quickly as you can

I have older version and lid start to have rust, not worth it.

If you don't care about the design and have space for it, I highly recommend buying one of the Japanese water boilers by Zojirushi or Tiger instead. Almost the same price! Tiger PDU-A40U-K is a good example.

Not a fan. The pour is so slow and the body scratches too easily

I'll just buy a replacement kettle for $30 that isn't a rip off.

People complaining that the pour is too slow are either not using it for pour over coffee or are using too coarse of a grind. If you're using the right coarseness, it will pour faster or as fast as the water is filtering.

But you did pay more than $40 right?

Thank you! I've been looking at one of these for years but saw some reviews that said it poured too slowly and would be frustrating for tea. I also need it to do both, and your comment pushed me over the edge.

FYI for others, Fellow has steel and copper versions on their site for $146 with free shipping.
