I have 1 of these I got back in March on a previous SD for downstairs (tile) and another I got recently for upstairs (carpet). These replaced 2 Roborock S5's I've had for several years. The auto-empty is a big time saver for me because I have a German Shepherd who sheds all year long and I don't have to empty it often. I recently started using some generic bags I got off Amazon for close to $1/piece and they are working out well. I also buy the generic side brushes and filters.
I had an issue initially with the long hair from my dog not being sucked out of the bin on the robot. I found a fix on Reddit where you tape up one of the 2 holes in the removable bin on the robot. After that it worked like a champ for me. The mopping is no better than I had on the Roborock S50, because it's just a pad it drags around.
That's about 3-4x more :p
I had this and returned it, personally waiting for a roborock clean/dirty mopping reservoir option in the ~$600 range; while this has "AI" it still sucked up socks and got caught on a bunch of cables and rug ends. Bumps the shit out of everything and will get itself stuck into situations it can't get out of like a drunk. The dirt reservoir is solid but this requires bags. I think a shark or something cheaper might be better.

These are fine for an apartment, but the battery is too small for other homes. Yes, it'll recharge & pickup where it left off, but the battery charger is too slow. My house takes 3 runs & because the charger is so slow, it takes all day to complete the job.

Do you run it everyday? Is it all carpet? Ours is mostly hard floors and we run them everyday, so we set it to low power after the first week. 1700 sqft vacuumed in less than 3 hours.

Once a week. I am thinking of running more days, 1 or 2 rooms per day. 70% hard floor. I run on default medium speed.
I can vacuum in a few minutes. These things make noise forever and die in about 1 to 2 years.
So are you saying all robo vacuums are bad? I have 3, each of them for over 2 years and they still work great. When I wake up each morning all 3 levels of my house are spotless and I didn't have to lift a finger.
I bought this for bf and not very fond of it. It constantly gets stuck and their app seems lacking. Mine won't vacuum carpet, does anyone know how to make it vacuum carpet??
Not to be confused with the N8 Pro +, which has obstacle avoidance. This one does not. I want a robovac that doesn't make me pick everything off the floor and somehow still manage to find and eat a cord. Waiting for a deal on the roomba J7 I guess.
I literally just purchased a debit ozmo t8 aivi+ from Costco for $300, haven't took it out of the box yet. Not sure which vacuum is the better option though

Costco in Lexington KY marked them down to $300 and replaced them with the N8 version.
