I have 1 of these I got back in March on a previous SD for downstairs (tile) and another I got recently for upstairs (carpet). These replaced 2 Roborock S5's I've had for several years. The auto-empty is a big time saver for me because I have a German Shepherd who sheds all year long and I don't have to empty it often. I recently started using some generic bags I got off Amazon for close to $1/piece and they are working out well. I also buy the generic side brushes and filters.
I had an issue initially with the long hair from my dog not being sucked out of the bin on the robot. I found a fix on Reddit where you tape up one of the 2 holes in the removable bin on the robot. After that it worked like a champ for me. The mopping is no better than I had on the Roborock S50, because it's just a pad it drags around.
That's about 3-4x more :p
I had this and returned it, personally waiting for a roborock clean/dirty mopping reservoir option in the ~$600 range; while this has "AI" it still sucked up socks and got caught on a bunch of cables and rug ends. Bumps the shit out of everything and will get itself stuck into situations it can't get out of like a drunk. The dirt reservoir is solid but this requires bags. I think a shark or something cheaper might be better.

I had the same issue with mine with the dog hair. When I called they suggested doing fewer rooms at a time so it doesn't get clogged. I will try the Reddit fix.
i own this but didnt realize id be refilling the stupid mop thing all the time.
really need a unit that has a reservoir

I've always had ecovacs/deebot thought they're good but mapping suck, now that I bought Wyze since Wyze mapping is quick unlike ecovacs annoying that it loses mapping sometimes too not sure about roborock

There seems to be a lot of deals on these robot vacuums recently. But this is the first one I've seen for a mop unit. How well does it work on hardwood floors ? Does it work at all on carpet ? Does it dispense any solution ? Overall, how well does it deep clean ? I saw one negative review on Walmart's site about it marking hardwood floors. I have a wyze and a eufy from a recent deal. I like the wyze more as it's efficient and picks up more dirt than the eufy. But eufy can get into smaller spaces and is more quiet. Will probably return the eufy but I'm looking for a mop unit now. So curious how well these work

- You will be disappointed with mopping.
How well does it work on hardwood floors ?
- Works pretty well
Does it work at all on carpet ?
-Yes. Use Boost on your app settings
Does it dispense any solution ? Overall, how well does it deep clean ?
-You can add solution to the water. Forget deep cleaning, mopping is a joke.

-No markings on my hardwood floors

-Try Deebot before returning others. So you will know exactly which one to return.

Thanks. Do you know if these units rinse and separately dry ?
Do the more expensive roborocks do a better job in mopping ?
I see a lot of technology these days in these bots compared to the older models, but I'm curious if the technology has been expanded in the mopping area beyond just depositing water and having a rotating pad go around a few times
