I added a few Uber gift cards to my account last week and after like months of getting 40% off deals every week for several months, they stopped with giving the promo. No longer a conspiracy theory that they stop giving you promos if you carry a significant Uber balance.
Find somewhere coupons stacks with existing deal. I got Outback tonight from this deal ,14$ off . Last night Wawa ,10 off. I only use grubhub if I can find a deal or a code and always pickup if not it is cheaper to go directly to the store or restaurant.

During the pandemic, GB had $5/$10 weekly, and I was also constantly getting $5/$15 user specific coupons that I wasn't using because I was waiting for the $5/$10. Now I don't get user specific coupons anymore, and am always too slow to use the general $5/$15 codes that are posted. This 20% is $5/$25, even worse. But you can get 20% off up to $7, so up to a $35 purchase only. Then ur just paying inflated prices. I never get delivery anymore because my first experience saw a $50 gift card used up buying <$30 of jacked-up-priced food plus all the fees/add-ons/tips/etc. I only get pickup now, and only if the discount overrides the jacked-up pricing of GB (and Uber Eats, etc). Otherwise I call the restaurant directly and order takeout food over the phone. I mean, if each dish is priced $2-$3 higher on GH, your $5 is completely eaten up, and the restaurant makes less because they have to pay GH too.

Same here. After buying a slickdeal for ubereats here from bestbuy, no more coupons from ubereats.
Same. How would they know though? I personally haven't added the gift card to my account just yet for this reason but I still am not getting promos anymore. Maybe it's that time of the year?
I had the free membership recently with GrubHub and made the mistake of using PayPal instead of a credit card. Recently someone was able to make an order from another state and charge my PayPal. GrubHub/PayPal wouldn't fix it or reimburse, GH has really shitty security/costumer service. Stay away.

With 40% off you will get max discount of $15 off. To get that $15off, you'll end up paying taxes and service tax of around $12. Finally you will save around $2-$3.

That is very surprising considering PayPal is very protective of there customers and usually help if there's a issue. I been using PayPal on grubhub 6-7-8 months now no issues ,feeling more secure than with a credit card. Ty for the heads up.

Paypal told me I had agreed to a monthly subscription through seamless. I responded telling them that idk how an order from another state is part of some subscription. Haven't heard back since. I just chalked up the loss and removed all my info then deleted. Never had an issue with Uber/doordash
Code worked at a local Chinese restaurant. Saved $7. Free delivery courtesy of GrubHub+ w/Amazon Prime. The only add-on was a tip, which I was happy to pay to not have to go out and get food on New Years Eve. I used a Grub Hub gift card as payment. Thank you and Happy New Year Everyone!
