I was in Lowes Store today (San Diego County) and came across this 4 tools 24V combo set.
Initially staring at the reciprocating saw which also was on clearance for $69.XX and then saw this for $119.37.

Didn't need the drill, impact or charger but for this price it was a no brainer.

The online price does not reflect this clearance so extremely YMMV.

I assume Lowes clearing these out as new models did come out few months ago.

Great deal for brushless, the problem is that ryobi seems to go on sale on lot more. So if you are going to keep adding to your ecosystem ryobi might be cheaper long term

Anyone know the quality of kobalt?

They are really good both from personal experience and also from the various reviews. The tools typically out perform compared to some of their more expensive competitors (Dewalt, Makita, Ryobi) and if you consider the price, can't imagine getting anything better without significantly spending more money.

I have built out both Kobalt 24v and 80v line taking advantage of these clearance pricing and have been very happy with them.

Picked this up today. Was surprised to see one just hanging out up high on a pallet. The weird thing was that it would not ring up at the self checkout, kept flashing an error and when the associate tried their login it flashed a message saying do not sell. I had to go to a manned register to buy it. All I really need is the battery and impact driver so will sell the rest. Also grabbed that oscillating tool since I found one way in the back of a shelf. For both of those tools the receipt has a line I've never seen before, "minimum retail price applied to this item". Guess this is as low as they'll ever go. Side note I Even saw the weed eater and leaf blowers with the extra batteries, both marked down, but somehow restrained myself on those two. I never have this much luck with these tool deals.

They had a whole endcap advertising the sale price of $249 so I figured it was accurate. I checked with the phone app too, do you think the phone app would also be incorrect? Or would it match the kiosk

Having a whole end cap of these @ $249 you likely were looking at the new "next Genertaion" Model #KLC 4324A-03 Item #4913885.
Regarding the phone app price, yes the price may be different if you are connected to Lowe's Wi-Fi. On multiple occasions I would have different prices connected to their wi-fi and then change over to data connection. Their intranet prices can and do differ with their internet site.

You may want to drop the"0" when checking price as it's not part of the item number.

I checked out several Lowes today in town looking for other deals. Found this set at one other store marked at full retail on the shelf but at the self checkout kiosk rang up in the sub 200 price but not 119. The other Lowes I visited I just decided to check prices even if they had zero in stock and the two other stores were at full price. Also was checking on the kobalt leaf blower with the two batteries. One Lowes was at $89.76 so picked that up and the other 3 Lowes didn't have any but all had wildly different pricing from full retail to $120 something. Prices for the cheap oscillating tool varied as well from the 24.67 to 28 to 79 to full retail. Was surprised at all the differences.

As BraveFeather984 noted, any $200+ pricing is the new model, especially those that are on end caps with several of them stocked. Have to look for the item #0672826 which is the older model for this clearance price. This is also true for other kobalt tools as old and new looks identical.
