Meh 🫤 You can sometimes find the LB6504 650 cfm version with 5.0ah battery for $200 when on sale. A 5.0ah battery alone is usually $100-150.
I say wait. It's winter, I'll wait for a better deal.

615 kit was $149, 650 kit with 5.0 was $199, and 765 kit was $289 over the holidays. I know, it is not now, but just an FYI. On the 6xx kits, the battery alone was worth about as much as the whole kit.

Margins on this bare tool must be high for it to sell for $120. That is without any battery.

FYI, check out your Lowe's store. YMMV in store. They have the 650cfm version with 5.0ah battery for $200.

I just brought one. Brickseek isn't accurate. It shows out of stock in my store but it's there. YMMV in store purchase.

where have you seen the 5.0ah battery for $100 - 150, I would love to get a few for that price. I never saw them for less than $200

Yup, I can confirm. I was just at my Lowe's store and picked one up for $200. Brickseek isn't accurate. You have to go to the store and check in person.

I like my Ego tools but I have to say I have the 750 and it is not impressive when comparing to a basic backpack blower but at the end I like no mixing fuel and just pull the trigger and go. Just don't have expectations high because they are not amazing power wise

Buying tool only is rarely a good deal. Much better to buy with battery and sell whichever you do not want to keep.

Has anybody tried one of the EGO backpack blowers and compared it to one of these? Is there any benefit to the backpack other than the weight distribution?

I agree this is a so so deal and would wait for one with a battery, however it being winter should be a reason to buy not a reason to wait.

I only recently discovered that my Ego blower is fantastic for clearing light powder snow off of decks, porches and walkways. And I only have the 530.

I bought the Blower/Trimmer combo for $300. The Model #ST1502LB comes with the Blower/ Trimmer/ battery and charger.

I highly disagree. I have 8 ego tools and only 3 batteries. I've saved hundreds if not over a thousand by NOT buying deals with batteries. I have 3/4 acre lot and two 5.0s and a 2.5 with the rapid charger has always been enough for lawn mowing, edging, blowing, weed whacking, trimming, chainsaw, etc. even on spring cleanup days. There are soooo many battery-addicted people here it's ridiculous. Unless they run crews or dont use the rapid charger, they absolutely over-buy batteries.
