Reward points change:
The second change is that on February 14, 2023, earning points on eligible Best Buy purchases will become an exclusive benefit of the My Best Buy® Credit Card.
I know that sucks! But tbh I feel like I barely get rewards as a non credit card holder but I personally feel as if free shipping offsets it.
Yes.

This is actually a winner for those who DONT regularly shop there. They even get to save more $ on the spot as a perk versus needing to spend $250 to get a measly perk of $5 reward certificate.

Immediate dividend is what I'm talking about.

That's gonna save me lots of money and time. I've literally spent over an hour in their store trying to find anything I can really use to spend those $5 certificates on.

Does anyone know if they still give 25 points for providing a product review? Don't see it mentioned at all in the terms and conditions.
If you go to your order history and click on Write A Review on any item you purchased you will still see (Earn 25 points) for giving a review on the review page. I imagine since they're changing in February you still have time to do your 8 reviews this calendar year and receive the points.

Let's be honest. I can't think of any store that still remains that is offering the perks that Best Buy was. It was fun while it lasted. Amazon and Target don't have any perks.
Amazon gives 5% cashback when you use prime credit card. Also do their S&S and coupons count as perks? Also target red card users get 5% off orders and they have offers and weekly coupons with target circle

Then why did Best Buy make us suffer the past 2 years taking away the no minimum free shipping?

Do you know if I made a purchased with My Best Buy Credit Card and received a Certificate with purchased, but endend up making a return. Does the Certificate is also return? Or can I still make used of it? TIA.
Since no one seems to have answered your actual question:

If you received points that you cashed in for a certificate, but returned the item that gave you those points, then the amount of points you received for the purchase would be deducted from your account. If you already cashed in your points for certificates you would have a negative points balance.

None of that is the same as the free rewards points my BestBuy members would get with no caveat of having a paid membership or specific credit/debit cards.

You left out the most important detail. Only the most expensive plan $19.99 premium can stream 4k. And let's face it, no one here pays for the premium service. Their library is big, but you pay for it. When you actually stream on the OLED you can't tell a difference between streaming services.
OLED is great but it doesn't make non 4k content look great compare to HD. Your just sitting too far from your TV to tell the difference. Even the compressed 4k of streaming has noticable difference then their HD.

People can definitely tell the difference and a lot of people have the premium tier.

Not saying the person you replied to is right. But then you are mistaken as well. Netflix has tons of 4K content. In fact they have the biggest 4K library of any streaming service. Everything new they release is in 4K. In fact they have quite a bit of 4K Atmos content whereas many other streaming services don't. Of course, you have to pay for the 4K tier. Content aside - On a purely technical level, comparing just streaming services i.e. ignoring physical media, I think Netflix is one of the best streaming services.
Those aren't 100% facts their original tv show's and movies and documentary's are mostly 4k.but there original films which are mainly films I don't like cheap looking special effects and bad Dialogue.plus they 4k plan is to expensive. And I own 300 films digitally and just about all the streaming apps and I still buy physical media,

Glad they are doing this! I stopped shopping with them a few years ago when they stopped free shipping for their premium rewards membership and made it so you had to buy total tech to get free shipping. I live about 20 to 30 mins to the closest store so this is really good new for me! Well maybe bad news because I'll be buying all the deals now lol.

Screw best buy. I returned an unopened chromebook and they gave me a partial refund because they charged $29.99 for some webroot security crap that I never purchased.
