This is a good, basic entry level fridge. It has ample space (especially since it doesn't have a water dispenser and ice maker). Cons are the finish (it's a fingerprint magnet), limited cooling settings (there are only three to chose from instead of a 1-9 range), and it seems like it should include an extra glass shelf for the fridge portion (not sure why one isn't included). You can pick up a Whirlpool branded shelf on eBay for $40-$75 though.

I bought a used built-in last year. Put my old fridgedaire in the garage. It was such a life upgrade. No longer having to search for a spot in a cramped fridge. We have all kinds of things in there. Large pizza boxes go straight in.

Best of all, no more fights with the wife over buying too much groceries.

Get a garage fridge, it might save your marriage!

im not even angry, just pointing out you have no credibility. Kenmore to this day still does not make them, theyre contracted out to like 10 different manufactures. LG does indeed make a good chunk their fridges, how clueless are you. Kenmore is no where near "best", heck the Kenmore Elite line isn't even best.

Beware. I have one. I can't believe it's even called stainless steel.The thing develops rust spots.it's almost like it's " faux" steel.it's infuriating.

Good fridge. Less to go wrong. The Ice Makers are the first thing to break. Been through 3 repairs, now just use the old ice trays and have plenty of ice.

I used to work for Whirlpool a several years back. Fridge is the second worst product in terms of quality issues. The first is their cooking products like stoves. The premium brand is Kenmore, all others are not premium. I would definitely recommend warranties if you are going to buy Whirlpool.

The sht quality is because of the teams involved from Design to Mfg. The Mfg plant for fridge and cooking is absolute sht. I worked on Washers/Dryers and the Mfg plants were above average thus products are much better.

Lost all credibility when you said Kenmore is premium... Kenmore doesn't even make their own appliances its just rebadged Whirlpool, LG, GE, etc so you will run into the same issues that the manufacture products have.
