Walmart selling Moto G Stylus for $79 . Its 4G 2021 model.
This phone will come with sim card attached to it which will be compatible with tracfone also who have $10 plan ( after auto pay ) so it will be unlocked in 60 days once activated.
Worst scenario , you have to buy $30 plan from Total by Verizon for one month.
I got iphone 12 from walmart which came with sim card saying phone should be activated with total by verizon or straight talk. I did chat with tracfone rep and they said that phone can be activated with tracfone . IMEI and Sim , both , are in their database so will be no issues.
You need just 1 month of service and leave the phone in drawer for 60 days.
If tracfone work then total cost of unlocked phone will be around $95 approx.
if have to activated on total by verizon , then cost will be $79+tax+ $30 plan = $115

I did not sign up for autorenewal, but tracfone charged me anyway for the 2nd month, which I got refunded after going through a lot of hoops. Unlocking on their website after 60 days worked OK. My phone was not whitelisted for ATT which I was planning to use it on, but my bad for not researching before purchase. Anyway it works fine w/ verizon (red pocket). Phone is bigger than I like. Bloatware was easily removed. Camera's not great but I don't use it for that much anyway.
If you get 2 months service, you can also get 7000 or maybe 10000 reward points. 20000 reward points will get you $300 discount code for phones. Check Trackfone rewards for plenty of other offers.

Google for Tracfone Unlock Policy which was updated around Nov 2021.
