Unless you have atleast 150" at living room distance the idea laying back on your couch is enough is just cope.
Fireplace isn't a flex, I like most people don't even use them anymore, it's pure decoration, and if you were to flex, really nice ones aren't covered with tvs.

The dumb rending has the hanging hook/claws look like cast alloy. You DEFINITELY do not want the hanging attachments made out of cast, anything.

Don't mount a TV above a mantle. Just don't.
Thinking about getting an 85" mount for safety reasons.

I personally don't like it, but I also don't decide for others. People mount tvs above mantels all the time. Having a mount with level adjustment is definitely needed. Half the time the mantels aren't level and you have to adjust according to it or it will look even worse.

The profile is the same. There's only an additional screw on each bracket arm to raise it.
