I see the same anti comments in all tv post. Everyone's TV is better, TCL is better, Hisense is better, but then you go to those threads and there are people saying they are garbage, breaks after 12 months, motion is horrible. I stop listening to people and websites. I go to the stores and mess around with the settings and decide that way. Also look at people that actually bought the product for their opinion. If you read all the post most people are not happy with anything. Everyone priorities and eyes are different, so not everyone is going to like the same TV.
The X95J is on clearance now at this same price, albeit in a limited geographical area. Most would have to get Best Buy or another retailer to price match. YMMV as stock dwindles.

Looks like the full x90k line is back down to recent good sale prices at Amazon and Best Buy. Also, Costco has them for the same price, but with free extended warranty. Put in an order for an 85", might get a 75" too.

If taking advantage of 2 additional years warranty (7 total years) through Citi Costco card, must purchase before 1/22.

Just bought this TV 2 weeks ago, with a few tweaks it's absolutely gorgeous. I don't regret not buying OLED, this is upstairs in a room with 4 windows and a sliding glass door, but the blacks are plenty rich. Thanks for posting this, I was able to get Costco to refund me $200 thanks to the price drop on my 75". If you've got the budget I would highly recommend pairing it with the Vizio Elevate system to give you Dolby Atmos.

For those looking for the Costco model, it's under X90CK. Thanks, OP.

I have a two year old 65" 900H from Costco I've been very happy with except that it would be great if the viewing angle was better as that would be an improvement in our current living room set-up. RTINGS has these two a little closer than the the X90 and the 900H, so just soliciting others' thoughts.

If you want great viewing angles then get an oled. Don't replace with another LCD. Even a higher end one like the x95k or j with wide angle filter won't make it that much better and it will reduce contrast. Also the 65 LCD screens from Sony aren't as good as the bigger ones. Save for a more considerable upgrade.

I picked one up a month or so before Thanksgiving and I was going to buy a Apple TV to pair with this but its been surprisingly good. Haven't had any delay or issues with any apps so far. It even works pretty well as a Steam Link.

I couldn't disagree more. Viewing angle degradation on a VA is easy to see, and the ones with wide angle filters are noticeably better when off center. Most people don't critically look for faults in a TV, so they probably won't even notice. What is not easy to see is the difference between a TV that has 40,000:1 contrast vs one that is 100,000:1. I think for a lot of people it's not going to be important, and you can still see what is going on from wide viewing angles, without the filter.

It's quicker now. Depends on the model tv you get
