Like the last commenter, I was going to suggest looking into vinyl or contact, removable/self-adhesive, wallpaper. I wanted to paint the doors to my all-"walnut" TV stand to look like a twice-expensive one I'd found. That involved sanding, then priming, then painting at least two coats of spray paint (i bought chalkboard/matte paint) or regular "brush" paint. I was in an apartment at the time and didn't want to risk my security deposit because of wayward paint, or fumes getting and starting inside (it was too cold to start outside and I have toddlers), so I went with my original plan and put the chalkboard vinyl wallpaper on the doors and drawers, instead. Wasn't easy, but it looks great.

I'm guessing you're planning on painting the white parts? If you have outdoor space, and the weather is good for drying, you might want to sand, prime, paint (some paint has primer), then coat protect it, over trying to wrap long sheets of wallpaper over the visible parts, like the top.

has anybody received theirs yet? i ordered Monday night and they were supposed to be delivered Wednesday. Tuesday night I got an email it would be delayed, and right now theres still no new updates
