Not sure it's nationwide or just here in Sams Club SoCal. Their drink is also bigger than Costco.

Yes a great deal especially if you have kids.... I usually bring a few of mine and they're a cheap lunch date at Costco.

Costco HAD a fantastic food court, pre-COVID, that offered a wonderful selection of items. Deluxe pizza slices and Whole Pizzas - had them - now gone. Polish Sausages or hot dogs with a pop/soda for $1.50 - now the Polish Sausage is gone. Onion and Sauerkraut for your dog have disappeared. There was a beef brisket sandwich - nope - gone. They had a Mocha or Latte freeze for $1.50 - now it's a higher end organic farm raised free-range cage free cold brew for $MORE. Not to mention that they gave Coke the boot and brought in Pepsi a couple of years before that. And... paper straws. Ugh.
Sam's Club on the other hand still has pizza with lots of different toppings. They have larger cups and a greater variety of drink flavors (though I've seen that dwindle a bit lately). But, because of labor shortages and management at Sam's not prioritizing the food court, it's often closed when I go to Sam's, so, yeah.
BJ's - we don't talk about BJ's food court. That's not a thing.
