Not sure it's nationwide or just here in Sams Club SoCal. Their drink is also bigger than Costco.

In Costco?
I think Sams club has better food court hot dogs and pizza, but Costco has better pretty much everything else in the store. My two cents
Sam's uses Nathan's brand hot dogs. Very tasty. I do not prefer natural casings, but the flavor of Nathan's is very good.
Just get extra napkins for when your hot dog squirts all over your shirt and in your eyes. And contrary to someone else's post, both chains use 1/4 pound (pre-cooked weight), beef hot dogs.
I enjoy Sam's and Costco's offerings, but I give the edge to Nathan's dogs.
I could not care less about the 12 cents. Wherever I am and when I get hungry for a hot dog will get my money. It's been years since I had either, TBH.
Either way I'd rather give my money to a company that actually treats it's employees well.
