I don't typically do the premium entrees so I wouldn't know.

Here is some useless knowledge from a guy that is a regular there (about 3-4 times a month) plus trolls on their sub reddit which has mainly employees. This coupon is the way the survey coupons used to work. Basically, get a 3-item plate (Bigger Plate) for the price of a 2-item plate (Plate). They recently changed it back in Sept. when you do the survey now if you order a plate (2 items) you get a small item for free making it the same as a bigger plate. However, instead of a thing you write down and give at the register you're emailed a code. The registers only allow them 1 coupon/deal per item but I think the GEM coupon (the survey discount of $1.50) was separate and it allowed people (like myself) to double dip with a coupon + survey.
They need to improve the scratching method on their page. It was taking awhile. I was getting tired of scratching.

What kind of boxes did you get? I get the larger size red boxes. Some stores use black bowls.[/QUOTE]
They packed in black plastic containers with transparent covers. First for me though. Does it make a difference ?

is the code working properly for people?

i think the coupon is taking only $1.50 off and not the price of the premium entree? or did i not understand the terms correctly?

otherwise, you usually get a free entree by doing the survey anyway
The plate vs bigger plate price difference is around $1.50. At least whenever I've gone to panda it is. So the free upgrade from a plate to bigger plate would be $1.50 if that's what you're asking?

-it's basically taking off the $1.50 that it would cost to get a bigger plate
-doesn't work on premium items
-yes, same as survey but without having to previously have made a purchase.

Just bought a family meal yesterday (3 entree / 2 sides Large) and looks like the portion sizes have been reduced a bit. Couple of years ago, they used to average 18 Oz for a large side or an entree.

Yesterday seemed a lot less. I had to weigh. Here is what I got. Our panda of course is notorious for skimping.

1. Mushroom chicken - 17.1 oz
2. Kung Pao chicken - 16.5 oz
3. Teriyaki - 15.2 oz
4. Fried rice - 14.2 oz
5. Chow Mein - 13.4 oz

The new Avg is 15 oz per Large entree.

Just fill out the survey on the receipt. I always get a free 3rd item.
You have to buy something in the first place to get a receipt.

Instead of 2 small underfilled entree items you get 3, so about 1.5 total real servings amount.

2 of the Panda Express stores in my area won't accept the older survey codes that were all numeric (claimed their computer system won't accept it), and they don't accept the newer alphanumeric codes either if you write down the code. They insist that you have to show them a bar code to scan.

This is basically the same deal as filling out their receipt survey (free small entree when you buy a 2-entree plate). It's already frustrating that the receipt survey reward is only with a 2-entree plate, bummer that this is the same way.

Barcode coupons I believe are only available from the surveys. LNY does not give barcodes. If your store won't accept them in person, you can order online and input the code there.

I have never tried to write it down. When they first switch in Sept I recall bringing in a written down one for about a month and they took them (manually) since then I just print the email.

1000% agree. I was pretty upset that this doesn't work when I do a bigger plate and want a small entree (i.e. trying to get 4 items). I told them I'd gladly pay full price for the bigger plate. In an ideal word I'd get the 4 items because it's basically 2 meals.
