Also, do you think you would notice the difference between beans that were packaged last week vs beans that were packaged last year. I personally would not notice the difference.
I buy my coffee when I go on vacation. Right now I am sitting on 20lbs of beans from Costa Rica. And before I had about 30lbs of beans from Honduras. I can tell you that the first cup that I had tasted just as good as my last cup (two years later).

I also make myself a coffee latte every day with 2 - 4 shots. Don't care about the crema, all I care about is the taste.
