If you purchase any printer that is currently working with aftermarket toner, be sure to TURN OFF updates as this has blocked the use in existing printers. SURPRISE!

One thing I've heard about color printers in general though is that they use yellow ink or something to print "invisibly" on papers so that they can be traced back to the printer that printed that document. I understand why they do it, but I find the wasted ink aspect annoying - as someone who is trying to be more frugal
The Dell was an OEM Canon and reportedly a common problem with the Dell/Canons. So I don't think I'll ever get a canon.
