Most factory blemished items are really not blemished at all. Or have such small blemishes that are hard to spot if you didn't know.

Bought many RIDGID products under the FB and most products are original box just like if they were bought through Home Depot. Just at a better price and registering them for lifetime warranty is quick and easy.
Oooo. A free ship code from DTO has appeared.
Code seems to work for other items. The 50% off and free shipping promo may be a decent deal.

I agree except registering the lifetime warranty was a bit of a hassle - I bought a planer from them last year and Ridgid made me physically mail a bunch of stuff to register it. Nonetheless the thing is incredible and the hassle was definitely worth the savings.

If you buy from DTO and use the RIDGID chat, it's done in less than 5 min from start to finish. They will ask a few questions but that's it. Make sure to have the order info handy. It's good to have a receipt uploaded but it wasn't necessary last time. (as a side tip: if you do your registration online, get to where it says to mail the paper stuff, then call or use the chat, the registration goes through right then and there Big Grin No mailing needed. Just make sure you get to talk / chat with a person and you get things done right away! Smilie ).

Nowadays, we try to buy from DTO and not HD b/c it cuts down on the registration time.

But agreed, it's definitely worth it. Tools are great and lifetime warranty is good when you use stuff a lot. Only caveat, hated to register the vacuums, b/c they're on a different site. But still, easy peasy once we figured out where to go and how to post.

I got my 40 pieces today. Most are new and no deform on the heads.

One of the 1" drill head looks dirty, but not used.

Happy!
